Cherrytree Bakery is a bespoke developer and manufacturer of premium sweet products for the coffee shop, foodservice and retail segments. Independent, family-run, and grounded in operational and technical excellence, we deliver a dedicated and complete service package in our own inimitable way.
We were founded in 1984 by Managing Director Gary Entwistle, starting life with one product and a unique processing technology. Regional favourites such as our Chorley Cake were to follow, and for many years we found success offering a range of quality traditional products to the major multiples.
Then came the Coffee Shop Revolution, and so our innovative spirit was guided in a new direction. Through continuous investment and a singular vision, we made the leap to become a market-leading provider of premium muffins, loaf cakes and mini bites for the coffee shop and foodservice segments.
From our purpose-built BRC Grade AA manufacturing site in the heart of Lancashire, we produce and distribute over 30 million indulgent hand-finished treats a year, ambient or frozen.
Our artisanal creations are born from a passion for insight-driven innovation, and with a uniquely flexible production process, we have the freedom to create truly special products – products that customers love and that deliver real sustainable value to our clients.
